Our booklet, Ask About Your Diabetes Medicines contains questions that people might want to ask healthcare professionals involved in their treatment throughout their diagnosis and treatment path.

 

Following the success of the "Ask About Your Cancer Medicines" and "Ask About Your Lung Cancer Medicines" guides we have developed a new leaflet in this series entitled "Ask About Your Medicines for Primary (Early) Breast Cancer".  This leaflet has been produced in partnership with Breast Cancer Care and supported by an unrestricted educational grant from Roche.  It will provide breast cancer patients with questions they may find helpful in reaching informed decisions about their use of medicines.

These A5 targeted leaflets were developed to help cancer patients and carers ask relevant questions about treatment options and to encourage them to take an active part in decisions about treatment.  There is also a companion booklet available from Cancerbackup called Getting the best from your cancer services.

The Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain published the leaflet, Ask About Sexual Health, as part of an awareness campaign to coincide with 2005 Ask About Medicines Week.  The leaflet, highlighting the important role that pharmacists play in promoting safe sex is available to download.
