Ask About Your Antibiotics
Campaign Calls on Public to Ask Their Pharmacists About Antibiotics
The Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain (RPSGB) in conjunction with the Specialist Advisory Committee on Antimicrobial Resistance (SACAR) at the Department of Health and the Health Protection Agency has launched ask about antibiotics a public awareness campaign aimed at helping the public to better understand antibiotics.

The campaign highlights key messages about antibiotics including how to take them correctly and an explaination about using them only when an infection, caused by bacteria, warrants their use.  Campaign resources include patient leaflets and posters which are available to order via the RPSGB's website www.rpsgb.org.  You can also download a pdf version and a full copy of the press release by clicking on the appropriate link.
